Job Description:

As a Part-Time Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and inviting shopping environment for our customers and staff. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and have a keen eye for cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure the store is well-maintained, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly throughout the day, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
• Waste Management: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, keeping public areas and back-of-house spaces tidy.
• Surface Disinfection: Wipe down surfaces and touchpoints to maintain a clean and germ-free environment, especially during peak customer hours.
• Stock Control: Monitor and report the inventory of cleaning supplies, informing management when replenishment is needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleaning needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a defined time frame.
• Good communication skills to report any maintenance or cleaning supply needs.
